Gossip Huaso Style

Three huasos with some major gossip.

This photo of the week was taken at the Estadio Nacional (National Stadium) in Ñuñoa, Santiago during Chile’s Fiestas Patrias (National Day Celebrations) last year. (Have you seen this Chilean National Day Quiz?)

These huasos were supposedly watching a rodeo though it seems they had la media copucha (some great goss!)

In theory, huaso’s are similar to the Guachos of Argentina and Llaneros of Venezuela in that they live off the land, though in Chile’s case not just with cattle but also involved in agriculture (they can often be seen around vineyards, no, not just for the drinking!)

You will find most Huasos in the countryside south of Santiago, from as close as Rancagua and further on south.

What do you think they are gossiping about?
What caption would you put?
